What Is a Modular Lightbox Kiosk?

The Frame Plus Modular Lightbox Kiosk is an illuminated reception and branding station designed for indoor trade shows, conferences, product launches and business events. This integrated modular lightbox kiosk system combines a 3.3ft-wide backlit display with a connected illuminated counter, giving exhibitors two separate SEG graphic areas and a practical countertop within one compact presentation.

The 7.4ft-high rear lightbox provides an elevated brand message that remains visible across an event space. The front lightbox counter creates a visitor-facing area for registration, lead capture, brochures, business cards and lightweight product samples. Two clips connect the modules so they work together as one backlit trade show kiosk.

Two Illuminated SEG Graphic Areas

The kiosk uses two independently prepared SEG fabric graphics:

• The rear lightbox uses a 1000 × 2250mm graphic.
• The front counter uses a 1000 × 1000mm graphic.
• Each graphic requires its own artwork template.
• The two graphics can be replaced separately for future campaigns.

Do not resize or reuse one template for both sections. Review the Frame Plus artwork specifications before preparing your files.

The single-sided configuration includes two printed SEG graphics—one for each illuminated display area—and two blackback graphics. This option is appropriate when the rear of the kiosk will face a wall or will not enter the main visitor sightline.

Double-sided options are available when the rear lightbox will also be visible. However, the back of the counter sits directly against the front of the taller lightbox and is not normally an effective visitor-facing graphic area. The exact printed graphics included with a double-sided order depend on the selected configuration and displayed price.

Replacement SEG graphics can be ordered for future events, allowing the two display frames to be reused while the branding changes. Frame Only is also available for customers who already have graphics with compatible dimensions and silicone-edge construction.

A Lightbox with Counter for Visitor-Facing Tasks

The front module turns the display into a functional lightbox with counter. Its countertop is 240mm deep and provides a convenient surface for common event activities.

The countertop is suitable for:

No tested countertop load rating is currently provided. Avoid placing heavy equipment or products on the surface.

This modular lightbox counter display does not include enclosed storage, a locking compartment, a monitor mount or an integrated touchscreen. Businesses that only require a reception surface without the taller illuminated panel can compare other trade show counters.

How the Modular Lightbox Kiosk Connects

The rear display and front counter are assembled as separate illuminated modules before being connected.

Typical assembly follows these steps:

1. Match and connect the numbered sections of the rear lightbox.
2. Assemble the front lightbox counter.
3. Install the stabilizing feet and countertop.
4. Connect the lighting and power components.
5. Use the two clips to secure the counter to the rear lightbox.
6. Press the silicone edges of the two SEG graphics into their corresponding frame channels.
7. Position the kiosk and connect it to a suitable power outlet.

No tools are required for standard assembly. One or two people can typically complete the setup in approximately 10–15 minutes. Allow additional time for the first installation, artwork alignment or unfamiliar event conditions.

The two modules perform different functions within the completed kiosk. The rear lightbox provides height and long-distance visibility, while the front counter creates a defined visitor interaction point.

Single-Sided, Double-Sided or Frame Only

Choose the graphic configuration according to the kiosk position and visitor sightlines.

Single-Sided Graphics

Select single-sided graphics when the kiosk will stand against a wall or when visitors will primarily approach it from the front.

The single-sided configuration includes one printed graphic and one blackback for each lightbox module. The printed graphics face the main visitor area, while the blackback graphics close the non-display sides.

Double-Sided Graphics

Consider a double-sided configuration when the rear of the tall lightbox will also face a visitor aisle or open event area.

The counter sits directly in front of the taller lightbox, so its rear surface normally does not function as a visible branding area. The number of printed graphics included with a double-sided order therefore depends on the selected product configuration. Review the displayed variant and price before ordering.

Frame Only

Choose Frame Only when you already have compatible SEG graphics or plan to arrange printing separately.

Confirm the finished graphic dimensions and silicone-edge specifications before ordering. A fabric graphic without the correct dimensions and edge construction will not install properly in the frame channels.

Lighting, Power and Operating Life

The two illuminated modules use approximately four 45W light bars, giving the complete kiosk an estimated total power consumption of 180W.

The power system is configured so that no transformer operates more than three light bars. The kiosk supports 100–240V, 50/60Hz input power with DC 24V output.

Plan access to suitable electrical outlets before arriving at the event. If the kiosk will be used as part of a larger exhibit, include its approximately 180W requirement in the booth’s total electrical plan.

Integrated OSRAM LED light sources provide a 6500K daylight color temperature for the SEG graphics. The LED light sources are rated for up to approximately 50,000 operating hours under appropriate conditions.

The 50,000-hour figure describes the expected operating life of the LED light source. It is not the warranty period for the complete kiosk. The complete Lightbox Kiosk is covered by a one-year warranty.

This product is designed for indoor use. It should not be operated outdoors or exposed to moisture without appropriate protection.

Packing, Transportation and Delivery

The complete kiosk has an estimated packed weight of approximately 30kg.

Its two modular sections are organized in separate wheeled carry bags with foam lining. Each carry bag is placed in its own shipping carton.

The packing configuration is:

• Package 1: One carton measuring 1350 × 400 × 170mm
• Package 2: One carton measuring 1180 × 400 × 170mm
• Carry bags: Two wheeled bags with foam lining
• Estimated total packed weight: Approximately 30kg

Separating the two modules helps keep the rear lightbox and counter components organized between events.

The 30kg figure represents the estimated packed weight of the complete kiosk. It should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every user can move the entire order alone. Confirm vehicle capacity and carrier requirements separately if you plan to transport the kiosk by car or air.

Estimated delivery is 5–7 business days after artwork confirmation. Actual timing may vary according to the selected configuration, destination and carrier conditions.

Should You Choose the Complete Kiosk or an Individual Display?

Choose the complete Modular Lightbox Kiosk when you need an elevated illuminated graphic, a branded reception counter and a working surface in one connected presentation.

Choose a 1000mm backlit banner stand when you only need a narrow freestanding illuminated display without a counter.

Choose a 1000 × 1000mm SEG lightbox counter when you only need an illuminated reception or conversation counter without the taller branding panel.

Consider a complete trade show booth when your exhibit also requires a wider background, several functional areas or a more complete visitor layout.

The practical difference is that the Lightbox Kiosk concentrates reception and illuminated branding within a 3.3ft-wide structure. It provides more functionality than a standalone banner-style lightbox without expanding into a complete booth system.
