Trade Show Display Pricing & Ordering Information
Does Frame Plus offer a first-order discount?
First-time customers can currently receive a 12% discount at checkout by using the code FRAMEPLUS600. This is a first-order promotion rather than wholesale pricing. Promotional terms may change, so confirm that the code is accepted in the cart before completing payment.
How much does a replacement fabric graphic cost?
Replacement graphic pricing depends primarily on the finished size and graphic type. Prices for standard sizes are shown on the relevant Order Graphics pages. Confirm the frame model and visible graphic size before ordering, because similarly named displays may use different finishing or edge details.
How much does a trade show booth cost?
The cost of a trade show booth depends on its size, display type, lighting, graphics and included components. A simple portable banner or backdrop can cost a few hundred dollars, while a complete modular or backlit booth with multiple walls, counters and accessories can cost several thousand dollars. Frame Plus lists prices for standard products and booth kits online; larger or unusual configurations should be quoted after the layout and requirements are confirmed.
Why do some trade show displays cost $300 while others cost $3,000?
The price difference usually reflects the display's size, frame construction, lighting, printed area and number of included components. A basic banner stand or tension-fabric backdrop uses fewer parts and is designed for a simpler presentation, while a modular LED lightbox booth may include illuminated walls, connectors, counters, storage or monitor supports. Higher price does not automatically mean the display is the right choice; the best value is the system that fits the booth space, visual goals, setup resources and expected reuse.
Where can I find my order number and tracking information?
After an order is placed, Frame Plus sends an order-confirmation email containing the order number. Tracking information is provided when the shipment is dispatched. If you cannot locate either message, contact Frame Plus with the purchaser's name and email address.
Trade Show Display Production & Shipping FAQs
How long do production and delivery usually take?
Production normally takes about 2–3 working days, followed by approximately 3–4 working days for delivery. The typical total lead time is about one week. Timing may vary by product, order quantity, artwork approval, destination and carrier conditions, so confirm the schedule for time-sensitive events.
Can Frame Plus attach my trade show's advance warehouse shipping labels?
Yes. Send the required advance-warehouse label files and Frame Plus can attach them to the display packages before shipment. Provide the labels early enough for packing, and make sure the exhibitor name, booth number, delivery window and warehouse instructions are correct.
Does every display include a wheeled hard-shell case?
Each applicable display unit includes a wheeled carrying bag, but it is not a hard-shell shipping case. The bag is intended to support routine transport and storage. Review the packed dimensions and shipping method if the display will be checked as airline baggage or handled through freight networks.
Where can I find the packed dimensions and weight of a display?
Packed dimensions and weight are listed in the Specifications section of the relevant product page. Each applicable lightbox or display unit includes a wheeled carrying bag for transport and storage. Check the specification for every package in a booth kit, because larger kits may ship in multiple bags or cartons.
Trade Show Display Graphics & Custom Printing
Can Frame Plus guarantee an exact color match?
Frame Plus cannot guarantee an exact match to every screen, sample or reference because displays, printing equipment, ink and lighting reproduce color differently. Production uses DURST printing equipment and managed color workflows to support consistent output. For color-critical work, communicate the target before production and consider an approved physical proof where available.
How does Frame Plus check artwork and print quality before shipping?
Frame Plus first reviews the artwork for resolution, print dimensions and the quality of images or other design elements. Once the file is approved, it moves into production. After printing, the graphic is checked on the physical display or lightbox frame, and photographs are taken before packing and shipment.
What artwork file formats does Frame Plus accept?
Frame Plus accepts PDF and Adobe Illustrator (AI) files, with PDF preferred. Prepare the file at the correct scale and follow the Artwork Specifications for dimensions, fonts, linked images and resolution. If you are unsure whether a file is production-ready, submit it for review before printing.
What banner material is best for indoor displays?
For most indoor trade show displays, fabric graphics are a practical choice because they are lightweight, reusable and easy to pack. SEG fabric graphics are designed to fit into the channels of compatible lightbox or non-lit SEG frames, while stretch-fabric graphics are used with tension-fabric and tubular-frame displays. The best material depends on the frame system, required finish, lighting and frequency of reuse, so the graphic should always be ordered for the specific display model.
What is trade show display printing?
Trade show display printing is the production of branded graphics made to fit exhibition frames, backdrops, counters and lightboxes. The correct material and finishing method depend on the hardware; common options include fabric, vinyl and other printable media. For an SEG frame, a fabric graphic is finished with a silicone edge that inserts into the frame channel to hold the image smooth and taut. Replacement graphics must match the exact visible size, edge finish and frame model.
What resolution should my artwork be for large-format printing?
Frame Plus can print files with resolution up to 300 dpi, but approximately 120 dpi at final output size is usually sufficient for large-format display graphics. The appropriate resolution depends on viewing distance, image content and the scale at which the artwork is supplied. Low-quality source images cannot be improved simply by increasing the file's dpi setting.
When and where should I upload my artwork?
You can upload artwork through the Artwork Upload link at the top of the Frame Plus website. If a product page includes a graphic-upload field, you may also attach the file there before checkout. Include enough order or product information for the artwork to be matched to the correct item.
Can I reorder replacement graphics without buying a new frame?
Yes. Go to Order Graphics under Printing Service, select the graphic that matches the frame model and size, and upload the new artwork. If you are not certain which replacement graphic fits your existing display, contact Frame Plus before ordering.
Choosing the Right Trade Show Display Solution
How do retractable banner stands work?
A retractable display reduces its packed size by allowing part of the structure or graphic to collapse for transport. In a roll-up banner stand, the graphic winds into a spring-loaded base. In the Frame Plus Retractable Backdrop, adjustable or collapsible posts and beams form a wider background that packs down when not in use. Always follow the instructions for the specific model, because the setup and graphic attachment methods are different.
What is a backlit display?
In the exhibition industry, a backlit display is a graphic display with LED lighting built into or behind the frame so that light passes through the printed fabric. Common formats include narrow backlit banner stands, wide illuminated backdrops and complete lightbox booth kits. Compared with a non-lit display, it provides more even illumination and stronger visibility in a busy venue, but it also requires access to power and generally costs more to purchase and ship.
CollaWhat is a banner stand?
A banner stand is a portable frame that supports a printed graphic for branding, advertising or wayfinding. Depending on the design, the graphic may retract into a base, stretch over a tubular frame, attach to a pop-up structure or fit into an illuminated SEG frame. Narrow stands are useful for entrances and product messages, while wider backdrop-style displays create a larger branded background.
What is a retractable banner stand?
The term “retractable banner stand” can describe more than one portable display design. A traditional roll-up stand stores the graphic inside a base, while the Frame Plus Retractable Backdrop uses adjustable or collapsible support components to create a wider background and pack into a smaller transport size. In either case, confirm the product's finished dimensions, graphic size and setup method rather than assuming that different frames or graphics are interchangeable.
What is a trade show backdrop?
A trade show backdrop is a large branded display placed behind or beside an exhibit to create a visual background for the booth. It commonly carries a company logo, campaign message or product imagery and may use a tension-fabric frame, pop-up frame, retractable structure or illuminated lightbox. Backdrops are usually purchased as a compatible frame-and-graphic system, although replacement graphics may be available separately. The right option depends on the available width, required portability, lighting and frequency of reuse.
What is a trade show booth?
A trade show booth is the designated exhibition space where a company presents its brand, products or services at an event. The term may refer to the rented floor space as well as the display system placed inside it, such as backdrops, lightboxes, counters and modular walls. Booths are commonly sold or planned around standard floor sizes such as 10×10, 10×20 and 20×20 feet.
How do I choose a backlit trade show display?
Choose a backlit display by matching it to the booked booth dimensions, open sides and permitted wall height. A 10×10-foot booth commonly uses a backlit wall up to about 10 feet wide, while a 20-foot backwall may use one wider unit or connected 10-foot modules. Corner layouts can use two illuminated walls joined at an angle when the floor plan allows it. Also compare packing size, setup requirements, available power and whether you want a single backdrop or a complete lightbox booth.
How do I choose a custom trade show display?
Start with the booth dimensions and exhibitor rules provided by the show organizer, including the number of open sides and any height restrictions. A simple backdrop or banner stand may be sufficient for a compact inline space, while a corner, peninsula or larger booth may need multiple walls, counters or a complete modular booth kit. Also consider your budget, setup team, shipping method and whether the display will be reused. Standard configurations can be purchased directly, while Frame Plus can help plan larger or less conventional layouts before you order.
How do I choose the right trade show booth size?
Choose the booth size that matches the floor space confirmed by the event organizer; a display cannot extend beyond the rented area. Review the exhibitor manual for the number of open sides, maximum height and any setback rules. Frame Plus offers standard kits for common 10×10, 10×20 and 20×20-foot spaces. If the space or layout is unusual, send the floor plan and show requirements before ordering so a suitable configuration can be recommended.
What are the best banner stand options for trade shows?
The best banner stand is the one that fits the available width, viewing distance, setup team and desired lighting. Use a narrow freestanding banner for entrances or supporting messages, a tension-fabric or pop-up backdrop for a wide non-lit background, and a backlit banner stand or illuminated backdrop when stronger visibility is needed. Check the actual product dimensions against the booth plan, because a product name such as “10 ft” does not replace the organizer's floor-space and height rules.
What are the best portable displays for trade shows?
The best portable display depends on the available floor space, desired visual impact and how the equipment will be transported. Retractable and narrow banner stands work well for entrances or supporting messages; tension-fabric and pop-up displays provide a wider non-lit background with relatively compact packing; modular lightboxes provide stronger illumination and can form larger backwalls or booth layouts. For a 10×10-foot space, a backdrop up to about 10 feet wide is a common starting point, while larger spaces can use wider or connected modules as permitted by the show rules.
What are the best trade show booth kits for beginners?
For a first trade show, choose a kit that matches the booked floor space and can be assembled by the people traveling to the event. Lightweight pop-up fabric displays and tension-fabric backdrops are practical starting points because they have fewer parts and pack compactly. If stronger illumination and long-term reuse are priorities, a tool-free modular lightbox kit can also work for a small team, provided the team reviews the instructions and power requirements before the show. Beginners should favor a complete, clearly documented kit over a highly customized layout.
Do backlit booths stand out more at trade shows?
Backlit booths are generally more visible than comparable non-lit displays because internal LED lighting keeps the graphic evenly illuminated and increases contrast in a busy hall. They can be especially useful in dimmer areas or when a brand needs a large, bright visual focal point. However, lighting alone does not guarantee visitor traffic or sales; artwork quality, message clarity, booth location and staff engagement still matter.
What is the difference between backlit and non-backlit displays?
A backlit display uses internal LED lighting to illuminate a translucent graphic, while a non-backlit display relies on the venue's ambient or external lighting. Backlit systems offer more even brightness and stronger visual contrast, but they require power and usually involve more components, weight and cost. Non-lit tension-fabric, pop-up and retractable displays are often lighter and simpler to transport. Both can use replaceable graphics, so the better choice depends on budget, venue lighting, setup resources and desired impact.
Trade Show Display Setup & Accessories
How easy is it to assemble a Frame Plus display?
Frame Plus modular displays are designed for straightforward, tool-free assembly. A standard unit can often be assembled by one or two people in under 30 minutes, while larger booth kits with multiple modules may require more time and planning. Review the instructions before the event and allow additional time for the first setup.
Should the TV mount position be considered when designing the artwork?
Yes. The TV mount does not create a special file-format restriction, but the screen and bracket will cover part of the printed graphic. Keep logos, text and other important elements outside the area that will be occupied by the TV, and confirm the mounting height before finalizing the artwork.
What TV size and weight can the display frame support?
The current guideline is a maximum TV size of 40 inches and a weight below 15 kg. Confirm the monitor's actual dimensions, weight and mounting pattern against the specific TV bracket before installation. Do not rely on screen size alone.
Can the carrying bag be supplied without Frame Plus branding or with my logo?
Standard carrying bags are supplied with Frame Plus branding. Custom printing with a customer's logo is available only for bulk production with a minimum order quantity of 50 units. Small quantities cannot be individually reprinted with a different logo.
